TREATMENTS
Chiropractic Adjustments
Also known as spinal manipulations, Chiropractic adjustments are considered a safe, non-invasive treatment for musculoskeletal problems, often providing relief without the need for medications or surgery. The goal is to improve spinal motion, enhance physical function, and reduce pain. By realigning the spine,  chiropractic adjustments can help alleviate pressure on nerves, reduce inflammation, and promote the body’s natural ability to heal.
Graston Technique +
Muscle Scraping
A form of manual therapy that uses specialized stainless-steel instruments to detect and treat soft tissue injuries and restrictions. It can break down scar tissue, improve mobility , and reduce pain in muscles, tendons and ligaments. During treatment the Dr. uses the instrument to gently massage or scrape over the affected area, which helps identify and treat areas of chronic inflammation or soft tissue fibrosis. The goal is to stimulate the body's healing process, improve blood flow, and promote the regeneration of healthy tissue.
E-Stem + Moist Heat
Electrical stimulation is a therapeutic treatment that uses electrical currents to stimulate muscles and nerves. It involves placing electrodes on the skin, which deliver controlled electrical impulses to the affected area. The goal is to reduce pain, promote muscle recovery, and improve circulation. Moist heat is used to alleviate pain, relax muscles, and increase circulation in targeted areas of the body. The moist heat penetrated deeper into tissues compared to a dry heat. This therapy treats Muscle soreness, joint pain, chronic pain, and injury recovery.
Active Release Technique (ART)
ART is a type of manual therapy used to treat soft tissue injuries: including issues with muscles, tendons, ligaments, facia, and nerves. Over use, injuries, or trauma can cause scar tissue to develop within soft tissue. These adhesions can restrict movement, cause pain, and reduce blood flow. ART helps to breakdown these adhesions, restore normal tissue function, and improve mobility. It combines precise pressure with patient movement to release tight areas and improve tissue health.
Flexion Distraction
A gentle technique used to treat spinal conditions, particularly those involving the lower back. It involves the use of a specially designed treatment table that allows the Dr. to flex and stretch the spine in a rhythmic motion while applying manual pressure to a specific area. The technique helps decompress the spine, improve mobility, and alleviate pain. By reducing pressure on spinal nerves and discs, this technique promotes healing, increases range of motion, and helps restore normal spinal function.
